Mekko Graphics Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts save you time by helping you quickly navigate your software without moving back and forth between your keyboard and mouse. Many of the standard keyboard shortcuts you might already be familiar with are also available to you in Mekko. Some of these are listed below:

CTRL+I Make letters italic.
CTRL+U Make letters underline.
CTRL+C Copy the selected text or object.
CTRL+X Cut the selected text or object.
CTRL+V Paste the selected text or object.
ShortcutNavigation Action
CTRL+TABSwitch to the next tab in a dialog box.
CTRL+SHIFT+TAB Switch to the previous tab in a dialog box.
ESCClose a menu if one is currently open, or go back to the document.
DOWN ARROW or
UP ARROW
Move among choices in a selected submenu; move among certain options in a group of options.
F1 Access the Help feature
F7 Choose the Spell-Check feature
F10 or ALT Select menu bar
DOWN ARROW or
UP ARROW
When a menu is open, select the next or previous command.
LEFT ARROW or
RIGHT ARROW
Select the menu to the left or right.
TABGive focus to the next element or control.
SHIFT+TAB Reverse the navigation direction and give focus to the previous element or control. In general, the Shift key reverses the navigation direction.
SPACEBAR Activate the element or control that has focus. For example, if the current control is a button, this action is the equivalent of clicking on the button with a mouse.


Additionally, there are shortcuts that are unique to Mekko Graphics. Once you start using them, you will see the difference in the time you can save creating and editing your charts! Here are just a few to try:
