Mekko Graphics 12.0.0.3044 Release Notes

Overview – This is a major release that introduces several new features

New Capabilities:

  1. Ability to link formatted ranges from Excel to PowerPoint Tables
  2. Ability to create charts from ranges inside PivotTables as well as entire PivotTables
  3. Ability to link Excel PivotTables to Mekko Graphics charts so that updates to the
    PivotTable fields will update the linked charts
  4. Improved sort for waterfall charts
  5. Automated the process of creating a palette from the current PowerPoint or Excel theme

Other improvements:

  1. User interface improvements to the Show Labels button in Edit Chart
  2. User interface improvements to the Hide/Show Axis feature
  3. Added ability to show every nth bar label to the X axis tab of the Format Axis task pane and to the X axis right-click menu
  4. Draw very small non-zero segments in charts by setting a minimum drawing size for non-zero segments
  5. Custom sort for Data Rows implemented
  6. Included “Markers Only” option for lines on the right-click menu
  7. Added axis title position pulldown to the right click (Context menu) for Y and 2Y axes in Settings section of mini toolbar
  8. Enhanced Excel Link Manager: added ability to remove excel links for all charts in a presentation
  9. Changed default for font sizes for new charts from a font size range (7-12 point) to a specific font size (12 point)

Corrected issues:

  1. FIPS mode issue resolved for Mekko Graphics in Excel
  2. Fixed the broken Mekko Graphics custom Task Panes due to the recent MS Office updates starting in Version 2009 (Build 13231.20262)
  3. Fixed issue where OneDrive location of Excel file would break the link to Excel file when the file is closed
