New Features:

  • A new chart type is added - Doughnut Charts
  • Bars Labels margin available for vertical and horizontal charts when negative bar totals are present
  • Added option to enter color as Hex value in Color Editor dialog
  • Productivity command - Swap Positions of Two Selected Objects
  • IfError function is available in Data Editor

UI Usability:

  • Added ability to quickly use fixed font size in Preference Manager - Min, Max, SmartPlace
  • Added ability to set data scale in the context menu for the selected label group
  • Simplified Show Series and Show Bars menus in Chart Editor and Data Editor

New API functions in PowerPoint Mekko Graphics add-in to update chart properties:

  • Set Series Font
  • Set Series Color

Corrected issues:

  • Negative number formatting with suffix when shown in parentheses
  • Issue when removed segment link reappeared in Waterfall chart after data change
  • Inability to edit empty labels when the font is not installed
  • Chart type conversion error when Bar Mekko chart with the linear x-axis is converted to a Pie chart
  • Issue when “Show All Outside” check box in Chart Task Pane did not work
  • Vertical axis title margin behavior after horizontal to vertical layout switches
  • Issue when smartplaced bar totals disappear in horizontal charts
  • An issue in data editor when “Plot on 2Y axis” did not work
