You may be asked to provide your personal information anytime you are in contact with Mekko Graphics. We may combine this with other information to provide and improve our products, services, content, and advertising. You are not required to provide the personal information that we request, but your choice not to do so may limit our response to your queries.
When you interact with Mekko Graphics via our website or telephone to make a purchase, download our software, register for or participate in a webinar or training session, participate in an online forum or survey, or for any other reason, we may collect information such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, contact preferences, and credit card information.
When you use the Mekko Graphics add-in software, we may collect your Mekko Graphics serial number, as well as your device identifiers, such as Computer Hardware IDs and Network ID, to help us better identify you.

We may collect information regarding customer activities on our website and from our software products and other services. Sensitive, Non-Personal Information
Mekko Graphics software, like any other Microsoft Office add-in, may be exposed to non-personal information and data of a confidential or proprietary nature stored within your Office presentations and workbooks. Mekko Graphics does not collect any confidential or proprietary data stored within your presentations or workbooks.
Mekko Graphics error logs are not transmitted automatically. When sending error logs to Mekko Graphics, keep in mind that certain errors logged by Mekko Graphics add-in software may contain file or folder paths. Always use project or code names in place of sensitive information when naming files and folders. If you do not, error logs sent to Mekko Graphics may contain sensitive information.
Cookies and Other Technologies
The Mekko Graphics website uses cookies, including third party cookies from Google Analytics, to help us understand user behavior, tell us which parts of our website people have visited, and facilitate and measure the effectiveness of advertisements and web searches. This information may include Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit websites and applications, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We treat information collected by cookies and other technologies as non-personal information. However, to the extent that Internet Protocol (IP) addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information by local law, we also treat these identifiers as personal information. Similarly, to the extent that non-personal information is combined with personal information, or with any other non-personal information to build a profile of an individual, we treat the combined information as personal information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.

The Mekko Graphics website uses YouTube for embedded videos. No data is transferred to YouTube until an embedded video is played. Once you play an embedded video, a cookie may be placed and your data may be tracked and processed by Google, the operating company of YouTube. According to Google, the information is used to record video statistics, improve user-friendliness and avoid improper actions. If you do not want Google to receive your data, do not click on the embedded videos on the website.
In some of our email messages, we use a click-through URL linked to content on the Mekko Graphics website. When customers click one of these URLs, they pass through a separate web server before arriving at the destination page on our website. We track this click-through data to help us determine interest in various topics and measure the effectiveness of our customer communications. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, do not click text or graphic links in the email messages.
Disclosure to Third Parties
Service Providers
Mekko Graphics shares personal information with companies who provide services such as transaction processing, meeting management and marketing. These companies are obligated to protect your information and may be located wherever Mekko Graphics operates. Personal information will only be shared by Mekko Graphics to provide or improve our products and services. It will not be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. Third parties include PayPal, Digital River, Stripe, Square, QuickBooks, MailChimp, GoToMeeting, Tidio Chat, ConnectWise and United ADDins.
Others
It may be necessary — by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence — for Mekko Graphics to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of law enforcement or other matters of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate. No such disclosures have been required of Mekko Graphics in the past, and we do not reasonably expect to be compelled to make such disclosures in the future.
We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer personal information we collect to the relevant third party.

Mekko Graphics takes the security of your personal information very seriously. Mekko Graphics online services protect your personal information during transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). When your personal data is stored by Mekko Graphics, we use computer systems with limited access housed in facilities using physical security measures. Although we protect the privacy of your personal information, we cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of your information at any time.
Mekko Graphics uses tokens with PCI-DSS compliant credit card processors. We never see or store your credit card or bank account details when you transact on our website.

We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Access to Personal Information
For personal information we hold, we will provide you with access for any purpose including to request that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete the data if Mekko Graphics is not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes.
