You can save time when creating a Bar Mekko by choosing the series for the bar width and data row directly in the chart data sheet. Just right click on the series name to activate the floater menu and select "Series as Data Row" or "Set as Bar Width". It's often easier for your audience to understand the chart if you include the data row since it helps explain the bar width.
